Ahhh….my body really is trying to tell me something. My back went into spasms on Thursday, almost as constant and intense as before my surgery a couple years ago. Then I woke up Friday with a cold, which has been quite aggravating…there’s nothing like bracing for back spasms when one has to cough…
Back is settling down, though, and I’m hopeful the cold will not turn into a sinus infection, as they often do for me. I did knock off a couple of nagging grading assignments, and have one more major one to get caught up, as new ones continue to come in…so please bear with my infrequent posts as I try to balance sleep, work, prayer, etc.
Be well Sister Sandy !
I hope your cold and your back ache both go away quickly for you.

Sleep, prayer, health, work … they are all important. It’s really a rush over here as well, so I *know*.
Take special care, Sandy, and listen to your body.
Sending light and prayers your way!

Been dealing with back spasms also. I hate the meds-just make you so tired. But finally gave in and too some pain pills, I just needed some relief, it did help. I hope you feel better soon.
Thanks, all for your prayers and kind thoughts! The “dreaded” sinus infection arrived, but I’m determined not to let it slow me down too much.
DJC, I feel your pain, and I agree with you about the meds – just make me feel too fuzzy in the AM…but so does not enough sleep, so off I go…
Sandy, hope you are feeling better, my friend. I found this article for you about another engineering nun!
